Why Choose Discoid Roaches?
- Excellent Feeder Option
- Discoid roaches are a popular feeder insect for many insect-eating reptiles and other exotic pets.
- Naturally Nutrient-Dense
- Roaches provide protein and other nutrients as part of a varied diet. For best results, feeders should be properly gut-loaded before being offered to your pet.
- Conveniently Cupped
- Your feeders arrive ready to use, making feeding day quick and simple.
Captive-Raised
Our discoid roaches are raised by New Gen Genetix, allowing us to maintain control over their care and quality.
Great for Regular Feeding
Discoid roaches can be incorporated into a varied feeding schedule for appropriate insect-eating pets.
Discoid roaches can be offered as feeders for appropriately sized:
- Bearded dragons
- Geckos
- Chameleons
- Anoles
- Skinks
- Monitors
- Frogs
- Toads
- Other insect-eating reptiles and amphibians
Always choose an appropriately sized feeder for your animal. Feeder size should be based on the species, age, and size of your pet.
Simple Feeding
When you're ready to feed, simply open the cup and offer the appropriate number of roaches to your pet.
For animals that are prone to letting feeders loose in their enclosure, we recommend using a separate feeding dish or designated feeding area. This can make it easier to monitor how many insects your pet consumes and prevent unwanted feeders from hiding in the enclosure.
Storage & Care
Keep your discoid roaches in a warm, dry, well-ventilated location away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
For short-term storage, keep the cup upright and provide appropriate food and moisture according to the needs of the insects. Avoid excessive moisture or standing water, as this can lead to poor conditions and increased mortality.
For best results, use your feeders promptly after arrival.
Important Note About Live Feeders
Discoid roaches are live animals. Counts, sizes, coloration, and appearance may vary naturally. We make every effort to package healthy, appropriately sized feeders, but a small amount of variation is normal with live insects.
Live animals ship on Mondays via FedEx Priority Overnight, with hub-to-hub delivery for customer pickup at the designated FedEx hub. Our Live Arrival Guarantee applies only to shipments sent using this service and is subject to the terms of our policy.
